Invitrogen’s qPCR product portfolio combines Invitrogen’s superior enzymes and Molecular Probes™ labeling and detection technology to deliver sensitive.  In addition, Invitrogen is committed to delivering the latest in advanced qPCR technologies to deliver maximum reliability, convenience and throughput for your gene expression experiments.

SYBR® GreenER™ the Next Generation in Real-Time qPCR Detection

The SYBR® GreenER™ qPCR reagent system incorporates the latest technology to produce the most reliable gene expression data from real-time qPCR. The SYBR® GreenER™ system is specially formulated to offer the best sensitivity, specificity, and reproducibility with:
  • Novel dsDNA-binding dye - Exhibits a brighter signal and reduced PCR inhibition compared to original SYBR® Green dye
  • Highly purified hot-start Taq polymerase - Minimizes introduction of DNA contamination
  • Optimized buffer system - Improves specificity and low-copy detection
  • Uracil-DNA-glycosylase/dUTP - Significantly reduces carryover contamination
Invitrogen’s SYBR® GreenER™ qPCR SuperMixes and two-step qRT-PCR kits can be used on virtually any instrument. Specially optimized kits for ABI and Biorad instruments are available with premixed ROX or fluorescein reference dye.  Click here for more information.

qPCR & qRT-PCR Reagent Kits

Invitrogen’s qPCR SuperMixes, one-step qRT-PCR SuperMixes, and two-step qRT-PCR kits can be used on virtually any instrument. Kits are available to support sequence-specific detection methods (fluorogenic probe- or primer-based detection) or with SYBR® Green. Specially optimized kits for ABI instruments are available with premixed ROX reference dye.

qRT-PCR from Small Samples: CellsDirect™ qRT-PCR

Obtaining good sensitivity from qPCR can be challenging when your sample material is limited. Our CellsDirect™ qRT-PCR kits are designed for maximum sample preservation. With CellsDirect™ qRT-PCR technology allows you to lyse your cells and proceed directly to qRT-PCR, eliminating RNA purification steps that can contribute to sample loss or introduce PCR inhibitors. CellsDirect technology also minimizes sample processing time and speeds throughput.

CellsDirect qRT-PCR kits are available in 1-step or 2-step formats. Click here for more information.

D-LUX™ Select Gene Expression Assays

D-LUX™ Select Gene Expression Assays combine the best of probe-based and SYBR® Green-based detection to deliver the most sensitive, specific, and cost-effective detection method available for qPCR/qRT-PCR. With the D-LUX™ Gene Expression Assays, you can:
  • Quantitate 10 or fewer copies with a dynamic range of up to eight orders of magnitude
  • Perform melting curve analysis to distinguish genuine amplicons from primer-dimers and other artifacts
  • Multiplex up to 3 targets per reaction
  • Perform quantitation on any real-time instrument platform
Choose from over 130,000 pre-designed, in silico validated assays for human, mouse and rat targets.
